Tierra Del Sol Resort & Golf

Our family has been coming to this restaurant for years and overall had nice experiences, but this last time was terrible, 3 servers to 5 tables and it took having to get up after 25-30 minutes of being ignored to see if we could order. Food was not cooked fully as we requested and lacking from pervious times we've been there. We went to the spa as well when we were there and that was great, but again, issues with the restaurant, after being ignored by one of the servers and not even acknowledging my presence, she finally came by to greet me and said I couldn't order food there and had to go to the pool side bar, and when I ordered through the poolside bar, the bartender said that I could have in fact ordered at the restaurant. It's unfortunate as our family goes there regularly because it is such a beautiful location, but unless the service improves, we don't forsee coming back in the future.

We had our wedding at Tierra del Sol and it was perfect! It is definitely the most beautiful place to get married on the island. It’s a scenic resort and great golf course. The bridesmaids and groomsmen stayed a separate villas to get ready and those were so nice! We worked with Emilio and he made our wedding absolutely perfect. Our guests kept telling us how great the food was at our wedding and we had 80 guests. I definitely recommend Tierra del Sol as a wedding venue in Aruba

The personnel who work at Tierra del Sol are friendly and helpful. The Tierra del Sol golf course is a beautifully designed course. The problem with the golf course is that it has been neglected. The bunkers are not sand; they are filled with rocks or standing water. The tee boxes boxes are under maintained, as are the fairways,which are loaded with weeds.The golf cart had a a hole in the floor and the parking brake did not work. The wheels of the cart needed to be turned into the curb to prevent it from rolling. The clubs I rented were Titleist and were relatively new and were easy to play. The value was not there for the cost of the greens fee. When this course opened 20 plus years ago , it was much more enjoyable to play and was worth the cost to play it. Serious attention should be paid to upgrading this course to return it to its former condition. Excuses do not cut it anymore.

I can't speak for the golf, but we had an amazing night at the restaurant here. This is a great break from the monotony of the beach restaurants where everything has the exact same view and all the food tastes like it comes from the same kitchen. The grounds here are stunning, the view is excellent, and the environment is very chill. The staff is super friendly, and so were the other diners - the relaxed environment led to many cross-table conversations and made for a unique experience. We had a few drinks at the bar during sunset (that is definitely the time to go) and then had a fantastic dinner. I highly recommend the linguine with white clam sauce.

Played 3 times in October, 2022. Enjoyed each round tremendously. Different conditions each round. With wind course is extremely interesting and adds to fun factor. Very positive experience - friendly and professional staff. Ice cloth at end of round. Nice range Some of the reviews I read simply do not make sense. Are they talking about the same course? Definitely a 10 in my book!
